Turbo
Air is a way to increase
the intensity of jet pressure without making the
jets self destruct.
When you reference the jet manufacturer's data on
using spa jets, there
are
specific instructions on how much water the jets was
designed to pass
out
the nozzle and how much water pressure the jet is
designed to
withstand.
If you exceed those limits or even come close to
those limits, then the
life
of the jets are greatly shortened. As I always
say: "You
can't
put 10 pounds of stuff in a 5 pound bag."
Without Turbo air, the spa manufacturers are tempted
to force too much
water
pressure through the jets to achieve
strong therapy. I have seen
spa
companies put the force of a 5 HP pump in one seat
with few jets.
That
is the "10 pound" principle! It is both
destructive to the jets,
the
diverter, all of the tubing and the pump.
With Turbo Air we pressurize the air inlet to the
jet with warm heated
air
from the air pump. This increases the therapy
with great force
that
does not exceed the jet and pump manufacturer's
instructions.
The top photo shows normal "venturi" air that you
find on other spas.
The bottom photo depicts the intensity of Turbo
Air. It feels
like you have a third speed on the jet pump!
